I started life on the other side of the Iron Curtain, spent my career in the West, and successfully raised two Millennials without a major "Music War."

Five years ago, I hung up my work boots for good, which makes me a freshly minted expert in the strange and wonderful art of adjusting to retirement.

In my head, I'm still 25. In the mirror, I'm a guy who gets called "sir" by doctors who look like they're still in high school.
